12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.Colossians 3:12-14

“Forgive One Another”
“Forgive One Another” Big Takeaway: Because God has forgiven us through Jesus Christ, we are called to forgive one another. Through His grace and power, we can let go of resentment, pride, and the desire for revenge. 2 Main Points: Forgiveness is both a gift and a responsibility. We cannot embrace God's forgiveness while refusing to extend forgiveness to others. God's grace gives us the power to forgive. Forgiveness requires humility, surrendering our desire for revenge, and seeing others through the love of Christ. Question for the Week: Is there someone in your life you have drawn a line between yourself and? What is keeping you from erasing that line and extending forgiveness?

231.578.4954WHO WE ARE
TEC Neway is a non-profit ministry focused on creating an environment away from the chaos of life where teens age 13-18 can hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Each retreat is comprised of adults and teens of all Christ-centered denominations. Our mission is to evangelize through basic Christian biblical teachings to help teens encounter Christ and gain a deeper relationship with Him. We want all of our youth to know how much they are loved by Jesus.
WHO WE ARE NOT
TEC Neway is not a church. We are not a youth group. Instead, we are designed to enhance the home church experience. we are strictly non-denominational. We will not teach any doctrine, instead introduce them to Jesus and His gospel. Many denominations come together to exhibit the love and acceptance of Jesus Christ.
TEC was the best blessing anyone could ever ask for, I now see the correct paths in life, God bless TEC! ~Jared

TEC NEWAY
Teens Encountering Christ in a New Way - in Newaygo County & Surrounding AreasWHAT TO EXPECT
Each TEC Neway retreat weekend is a unique experience. Each TEC retreat has a Lay Leader and Co-Lay Leader, and they prayerfully select a team of adults and teens for that specific retreat. This team ministers and loves on the teens just as they are.
Although there are some surprises throughout the way, you can expect a weekend full of great food, talks, chapel discussions, prayer, singing, and good fellowship.
WHEN, WHERE, WHY
TEC Neway doesn't have one set location, nor a set date. Our goal is to hold one weekend retreat every quarter, in various churches throughout the county. This is what makes TEC Neway unique among other teen ministries.
TEC Neway is like a blind date with Jesus. We set the date, make the introduction, and lay a foundation. Each person then makes the decision whether to build on the relationship or not.
WEEKEND STRUCTURE
Although each TEC retreat weekend is different in 'flavor', there is an outline used for all TEC Neway retreats:
TO KNOW
TO BE KNOWN
TO MAKE KNOWN
Friday is To Know
Saturday is To Be Known
Sunday is To Make Known
Each day has a collection of talks based on the theme of the day. Each talk will showcase how Jesus Christ guides us through life and will refine us as we grow closer to Him.FORGIVE
